My diabetes story started just after my wife, Whitney, and I had our second child. It was the end of December 2016, we now had 2 beautiful boys, Brody and Daxson, and we were now a family of four. In this highest point of my young family’s life, little did we know, I was starting to experience complications of a diabetic.
Our family might look a little different than others. We might have our eyes on a phone more than others to do a blood sugar check, we might have to stop and have our son eat an extra snack, but we are just like any other family. We are stronger from Ian’s diagnosis. We have fought and will continue to fight and we won’t back down. #KNOWSURVIVETHRIVE

His music has gotten me through some of my darkest times, my…

As a lifelong Type 1 juvenile diabetic since the age…

Bret – We would like to thank you so much for sending Hunter to Camp Planet D. He had a blast and we are so grateful that he had the opportunity to experience such an amazing camp with people who live with the same disease he battles daily. He had a blast entertaining the camp with his back flips! He is ready to go back next year and is planning on becoming a counselor when he is too old to…
